"Storm Metal" - indeed a fitting title for this Swedish band´s 3rd demo and also equally fitting would be the saying: "calm before the storm" because a rather tame instrumental intro opens the disc before then bursting into a flurry of very Blackend Death Metal with cruel vocals, well placed blastbeats and DISSECTIONlike melodic riffs. Has a fine production for a demo level band too. They lean a bit more towards the melodic Black side of Metal than the Death but still, with the base of mid paced Death formula and the Blackend shreiks these guys are not to be reckoned with and provide an almost equal amount of both styles within the music. They´ll smash your skull with brute force and no remorse.
