Time to like, spaz out man, with some Swedish black metal. In 1994 Spazmosity had its earliest incarnation, but years passed before the first demos emerged. The history of Spazmosity is an obscure journey into the dark under belly of the metal scene. Introducing members Bj örn Thelberg - Guitar, Jesper Enander - Drums, Micke Nordstr öm-Bass, M Lamming - Guitar, and Peter Emanuelsson - Vocals. Here is the limited demo discography: The Fading Of Life - 1997, Brought Back From The Grave - 1999 (not to be confused with GRAVE - heaven forbid), and the current, Storm Metal. In the beginning, this outfit formed as a cover group called MADE OF IRON, songs no doubt were MAIDEN covers. During this time the band began to write and self produce songs, but it has taken a while for this outfit to get their act together. In the band's defense, Storm Metal is a solid demo, which should progressively lead to better things for the Swedes.

The song structures are incredibly mature, maintaining balance between brutal sections, melodic and slower sections. The production is above average, featuring dark resonance. The band practices a balanced form of dark black metal; overall, the music is fast and extremely heavy. The sound evolves from aggressive to brutish through well-constructed segues. The popularity of this band continues to grow slowly, but steadily, with fanzines taking notice, with interest as far as Japan and Singapore. The band has been compared to DISSECTION and NAGLFAR. Lyrics feature mythical motives and concepts, dark perturbed perceptions on death.

Track listing "The Curse of Blood", "Ocean of Flesh", "Enter the Storm" and "Purgatorio". This album has been praised based on the band's approach to quality and musical styling. Spazmosity have opened for AMON AMARTH and ENTOMBED, recently playing gigs around Stockholm, not a bad town to hang around in.

Spazmosity put forth a commendable effort demonstrating an ability to manipulate and orchestrate music into a dark manner.
