Spazmosity come from Stockholm but, absolutely not in syntony with their homecountry, do not play melodic death metal. Indeed, if the roots of their sound go deep into swedish death metal, today there's little of that tradition since they addressed to a rather evolved but savage black metal. As main characteristic of the band remains the ability to succeed to mix the styles, building songs where a typically black metal riffing lives together a voice that continuously moves from screaming to growling and where the guitar solos are not cut back. The different influences surface in several moments also in riffing, that often reveals a clear thrash and death matrix, abdundantly merged with black metal orchestrations. The result is very interesting, and it's not hard to understand how these guys, also without a discographic deal, have been able to play together with people of the same caliber as Amon Amarth, A Canarous Quintet, Vinterland and others. The genres variation within the songs gives the compositions a particular dynamic, while more in general we could notice a move from death to black with the songs passing by. "Storm Metal" is a truly valid product also productionwise, while the technical care matches with remarkable songwriting skills, generating a winning mixture for a demo that will earn them the general attention. Another reality that just awaits to receive the right consideration.
